Hubs made beer yesterday, some sorta delicious IPA, so I made bread out of his used wet malted barley grains. I’m not going to get too far into the beer making language, because I get it all wrong, but it was, he says, “a mix of crystal 20 and 80.” Whatever it was, it made a mess. I mean, beer makes a wet mess, but add to that the flour mess of making bread, and then your kitchen is one big doughy scab. But the bread is goooooooood.
